And... SOLD!

Just thought I would offer a quick update on what I have sold recently.  I know I usually tell you all about what I am about to list, but I feel like I have been doing better in the actually selling department lately so I thought I would share!  Who knows, these could be your new BOLO (Be On the Look Out for) items!

A large Pyrex casserole with a pattern I have never seen anywhere else with a beautiful lid as well.  This sold on BIN for $32.00, I hope it is going to a collector who is also appreciating its beauty!

4 pieces of Pink Pyrex!  Sold for $30.00, this was about the 3rd time I have relisted these, I was just on the verge of adding another pink piece to it, but I am glad I didn't because I think I might keep that one for me!

Green Wheat Promotional Pyrex Space Saver Casserole, a beautiful deep teal.  This sold for $20.50, even without the lid.  It really has awesome colors with the gold leaf, too.

This is the big one.  So I have had this toaster sitting around for a while, knowing full well its awesomeness, but I didn't think it would sell that well.  I had seen a completed for the same one that never sold for like $59.99.  I started this at $29.99, and it ended up selling for... *drumroll please* $157.50!!!  I couldn't believe it!  There was a bidding war on this baby!  I think someone will be VERY happy with it, because it works like a charm!  It heats up super fast, and looks great while making your toast.

This is a man find, aka my man found it and was excited about listing it.  The foldable Coleman table and chairs I posted about last week.  It sold for $50.00, and we are a little sad to see it go.  We will definitely be keeping an eye out for another one for our personal use!

I knew this guy would sell fast, he is just too cute for words!  Sold for $11.00.

Man find Numero Dos.  He haggled for this PBR sign at a garage sale, and was so excited about getting it listed.  Sold for $28.00!

Well, on a less fun note, I was unable to accompany him to Colorado for a quick trip because we got home from dinner last night only to find our dog, Scout, had eaten an ENTIRE bag of semi-sweet chocolate chips.  We spent some time (and $$$) at the emergency vet, where they got most of it up, and she has been getting progressively better.  She has been a little down and out today, I think it's like her form of a hangover.  We had a lot of mom and fur baby time together today though, and probably tomorrow, too.  Wish her well!
I don't know what it is going to be like when I have my own little people kids.  This was the first time she has been sick and I feel like I am getting all mom on her by canceling a plane ticket and taking a day off work!  Oh well, she is well worth it!

Pinspiration!

Okay, I cannot be the first person to use the pseudo-word "pinspiration," right?  Okay, for those who might not know what in the heck I am talking about, it refers to inspiration from the website Pinterest.  It is a place where you can organize all the awesome things you find on the internet, and it is so addicting.  At first, I got into it like I get into a lot of things, the thought process goes something like this:

"I just do not understand why people like this darn website!  What the heck is going on here!  Well, I guess I should try and figure out why people are obsessed..."
*Hours and hours pass*
"Well, I guess I can see why this is cool, it makes me want to do a bunch of crafts and bake things..."

So I thought I would share the couple of crafts I have made time for recently.  Usually I don't take pictures of my crafts because I am embarrassed about the outcome, mine never looks as good as in the original pin.  It is like when you go to one of those other big chain restaurants and you see a picture on the menu that looks magnificent, then you order it and you realize that instead of some gourmet meal, it really was probably just unfrozen and warmed up.  Catch my drift?

Anyways, here are two projects I have worked on recently!  I am also posting the original pin!

My Paracord Bracelet

I waited forever to do this, because my biggest obstacle was actually finding paracord in the colors I wanted.  Plus I wanted to make one with a buckle snap, so I put this off.  Finally I motivated myself to browse Etsy for these supplies and I found Project Paracord.  This guy was so awesome, he has a great selection of colors (even colored buckles, I can't wait to get some of those!), and I received my order quickly!  Plus the prices are GREAT!  Check out his shop if you want to make your own paracord stuff, I highly recommend him!  If you have any questions, he gets back to you really quick!

Inspiration- Teacup Pincushion

My Pincushion

I couldn't really decide the best angle to photograph this little cushion.  On the top right are 4 different colored buttons that go with the fabric.  This is a tiny mini planter, with a really pretty multi-colored bird that I picked up 50 cents.  I knew when I bought it that this was the project it was destined for!  I had the fabric from my office chair project, so I decided to use that instead of buying new fabric.  I love all the colors!

Well, what do you guys think?  I like how with the pincushion I really combined a thrifty find with a crafty idea!  I will be linking this week to crafting link parties in addition to some of my favorite thrift link parties!  Here's to finding new friends!  If you have found me for the first time through one of these parties, let me know, it's always nice to meet new people!  Also, if you are one of my regular readers, feel free to comment as well, I love hearing from you guys!

Ebay Action!

Well, it was slow at the thrift stores this weekend, but it was such a wonderful weekend anyway!  The weather was perfect, and there is so much to do in Tucson at this time of the year, it was hard to choose what to do!  In the end, my friend and I decided to go to the races, take a look at my Instagram shot:

I love horses and their athleticism.  All the colors of the jockey's uniforms are cool, too, I really should consider bringing my real camera next time, but I actually got some great action shots with my cell phone!

Early Sunday morning I decided to head for a loooong 10 mile run, but it felt great.  I had a lot of fun, and near the end, off the side of the trail, a few people were stopped and watching a coyote.  They aren't aggressive or scared of people, so I stopped to watch to.  After a while, this happened:

I don't know why, but it really made me laugh!  Hey, everybody poops!

Well, in between my awesome outings, I decided to take more pictures and list some items!  I found a bunch of sheet music at the estate sale shop, and I picked up some of the more interesting ones, take a look at some of them:
 Audrey Hepburn, so glamorous!

This is such a beautifully colorful cover!

Looove The Sound of Music!

So whimsical!  This one is pretty!

I got a few more and they are all in my Etsy shop, along with this beautiful purse:

Look at all that wonderful detail!  Isn't it awesome!  At first I thought those were fake flaps, but there are actually two pockets under there that are PERFECT phone sized!

I also hit ebay HARD this weekend.  After getting my selling limits increased to 50 items/month, I no longer pick and choose really what I will post and what I won't.  I am so glad, because this means I can finally post all the Pyrex I got a while back at the estate sale shop, check it out!

2.5 Qt. Casserole Dish, looks like Golden Grapes, but NOT QUITE!  Still so beautiful with a GORGEOUS lid!

The boyfriend did find an awesome set of Coleman camping table and chairs that folds all together *inside* the table.  This is such a cool set, look!

If you would like to see this set on ebay, check it out by clicking HERE!  I am really glad I convinced him to buy these!  If they never sell, we may just refurb. it for our own camping adventures!

Well, I hope you guys enjoyed, I am linking up to these great link parties, go check them out and see who all is joining me!

Listing Frenzy, Take a Look!

Hey guys!  I have been going crazy listing items on Etsy and Ebay.  I took a bunch of pictures outside yesterday, and I took some inside tonight because I didn't have the energy to do it during the day. (I went on a long 9 mile run and I just needed a break!)  I won't get too wordy, but I will share with you some of my pictures!

 Spring Blossom Fridgie

Elephant Planter, this guy is cute, but has had a little repair!

John Deere mug with a really cute scene on it!

 Italian small footed bowl/planter

Fishermen's Fortune planter, anybody know anything about this?  It appears to be signed and numbered on the bottom...

First Aid book from 1967, I thought this would go great in my Etsy shop, but I looked on Etsy and there is a bunch of this exact one on there for cheap (and in better condition than this one!) So I may keep it for my vintage book collection.

There are even some REALLY great color illustrations in this book!

Large orange Pyrex fridgie, this is from the Orange and Yellow Daisy set, which was only solid oranges and yellows, no daisies!  This is currently on ebay! There are quite a few watchers (or "lookers" as my boyfriend calls them!) already!

 Autumn Harvest Pyrex bowl

Little playful kitten planter, so cute!

Set of four Spring Blossom Green tea or coffee cups!  I like how I set these up!

Hull planter, I love the color and the ribbed pattern!

Set of vintage flash cards, hopefully someone will pick these up for crafts or scrapbooking!

This is an interesting color Pyrex dish, it is a yellow and almost lime green dish.  It is also pretty small!

Spring blossom sugar bowl!

Well, there will be more to come, I don't want to overwhelm you guys with all the pictures!  Plus I need to try and get more listed!  I will be updating this post soon when I add some linky parties!

Oh and P.S.- I am now using Google Friend Connect along with Linky Followers.  Feel free to follow me on either or both!

Eyes on the Prize!

Hey all!  Sorry again that I have been away, but I feel like I am always apologizing for that!  I'm not great at daily, or sometimes even weekly updates, but I figure you guys have plenty of other blogs to keep you busy as well, so hopefully I can post some nice treats for you every once and a while!

Anyways, as I said, I have been working very hard on listing more items and buying a little less.  I have been doing well, but I had two exams in the past week so I had to study more than anything else!  Finally, last night I got a chance to take some pictures and list some items on Etsy, take a look!

The canister set above is WAY cool.  I picked it up from the estate sale shop and I knew it would be perfect for my Etsy store!  Each canister pulls out and tips forward so you can open its lid at the top while it is still in the box!  Cool, right?!?!

Just a cute little stoneware mug I picked up recently and haven't photographed until now!

Isn't this a great swan planter/vase?  I think it is very elegant, and cute with the little black swan!

This is actually something I did buy recently, a giraffe ring holder!  I think it is really beautiful, even the plate it is on has LOTS of detailing!

This is a tin made in Western Germany, aren't the people on it just too cute?  The red part of the box is velvet!  Perfect for Valentines day!

This is a necklace that I just photographed.  The settings for the crystals in the pendant got a little discolored, making the crystals appear green, but I think it is still very beautiful!

Also, my good friend has started her own Etsy shop and is creating some really wonderful jewelry holders that work great if you have a collection of dangly earrings!  Take a look at the one below that is currently for sale in her shop, Quixitole!  She has some similar items as well, be sure to pay her a visit!
